Awareness to Adoption

The Context

A great product still needs a system built around it.

Wix Studio launched as a powerful platform for professional designers. But powerful tools don't sell themselves. They need to be discovered, understood, and experienced before they can be adopted.

Wix Studio wasn't just a product to promote. It was a product that needed to be taught, positioned, and made approachable for designers. The gap between what the product could do and what designers understood it could do was real — and that gap was the problem to solve.

Brandon helped build the system around the product that made this possible.

01

The problem

Wix Studio was capable but unfamiliar. Designers didn't know what it could do, or whether it was built for them. Discovery and understanding were both real gaps.

02

The approach

Build an education-first system around the product — through tutorials, challenges, live sessions, and curriculum — while building the community that made ongoing engagement feel natural and valuable.

03

The result

14,000+ designers actively engaged around the platform. 30,000+ potential customers in the pipeline. An average of two months from community join to active Wix Studio adoption.

Why This Is Product Growth Design

This was not content production.
It was path design.

Most content work stops at impressions. This work started there and went much further.

Every piece of content was designed with a specific job: help someone understand the product, reduce friction at a key decision point, create a reason to come back, or make adoption feel like the obvious next step.

Brandon came into this work as a designer — with a background in interface design, UX, and product thinking. That foundation shaped how the education system was built. It wasn't just content. It was a designed experience for learning and adopting a product.

The system was built to move people through a defined path: discover the product, understand what it can do, experience it firsthand, build a habit around it, and stay engaged through continued learning and community.

Live Workshops
Onboarding

Live Workshops

Regular live sessions drawing 50–250 live viewers — hands-on sessions that turned passive followers into active learners building inside the product in real time.

The Growth System

Every stage, covered.

This wasn't a top-of-funnel awareness play. The system was built to move people all the way through — from first encounter to active, retained product users.

01

Discovery

Content and community visibility brought Wix Studio in front of designers who didn't know it existed or hadn't considered it seriously.

02

Understanding

Tutorials, explainers, and product storytelling gave those designers a clear picture of what the platform could do for them specifically.

03

Activation

Onboarding content, design challenges, and hands-on workshops moved designers from passive observers to people actually building inside the product.

04

Adoption

Community participation and continued learning created the habits and confidence that turned first-time users into regular platform users.

05

Retention

Ongoing engagement, new resources, and product-relevant content kept designers coming back — building long-term relationship with both the community and the platform.

The Point

Content, education, onboarding, and community were not side efforts.
They were the product growth system.

Brandon came into this work as a designer — with a background in interface design, UX, and product thinking. Over time, that foundation expanded into something broader.

Because building a great product interface is only one part of the problem. Getting the right people to find it, understand it, use it, and stick with it — that requires a different kind of system.

The Wix Studio work was that system in practice. Not a campaign. Not a content calendar. A product growth design system — built from the outside, working with the product team, to close the gap between what the product could do and what designers understood it could do.
